How do I apply for my child to start school?

If you have a child who is due to start school in September 2027 the online application process will open on Monday 2nd November 2026 and closes Thursday 14th January 2027. Applications are made online to Portsmouth Admissions Service and not directly to the school. Information on the application process can be found on the Portsmouth City Council website. National Offer Day is Tuesday 15th April 2026.

When can my child start school?

To start school in September 2027, your child must be born on or between 1st September 2022 - 31st August 2023.
